HONORARY CHAIRPERSONS

MICHELLE & MIKE KERBY

NAC SUPPORTERS

It’s hard to imagine that an entire year has passed us by since we last gathered in celebration of and giving for the National Ability Center.

We have been actively involved with the National Ability Center for over 18 years, serving in many different capacities. We have volunteered in a number of ways, including serving on committees and on the Board, supporting capital campaign efforts and donating to the construction of the new Adaptive facilities.

The success of the National Ability Center’s last capital campaign catapulted the facilities to the amazing current accessibility and quality standards they are today. Mike, as President of Big-D Signature Resorts and Residences, was able to give back to the community by helping construct the McGrath Mountain Center and Moran Family Equestrian Center, as well as other facility needs at or below cost, stretching every dollar to its maximum benefit.

The National Ability Center continues to grow exponentially, as it serves a growing population with many needs. More and more people struggle to find their independence, fighting to belong in a world that is not always physically friendly for people with different abilities. The financial struggle and the sheer cost in which it takes just to survive with limited income, makes access to quality supportive activity almost unattainable. This is what sets the National Ability Center apart. YOUR donations allow the NAC to NEVER TURN AWAY anyone who may benefit from the NAC’s programs.

Being Honorary Chairpersons is a great privilege, but the real heroes are the sea of volunteers, incredible dedicated staff, Board of Directors and new executive leadership, the generous Vintners, Restaurateurs, Chefs, supporters who open their homes, and the many donors who help underwrite the amazing events for the National Ability Center.

We come from all walks of life, yet we come together to lift others up (by lifting our paddles), allowing those who need a little extra to achieve things they may never have thought possible. It has been proven at the NAC there are no limitations to what anyone who walks through the doors can do. There is so much to be accomplished and lives to be touched by the many programs that the National Ability Center has to offer.

The wealth and the gifts we all have are ours to share. We hope you can give freely, knowing that your donations will be cherished and the lives you touch will be forever changed.
